Objectives in Blackjack
The objective of blackjack is very simple. Score a higher hand than the dealer without busting. It sounds easy, but there is a thousand different ways to play blackjack. The dealer has a slight advantage over the player, in that the dealer plays his hand after the players play.
To maximize profits, the objective is to score a blackjack, or a total of 21 points. This results in a 1.5 times your original bet payout. The dealer must draw up to 17, so you are trying to receive the highest amount of points without busting.
The objective is to try and keep your bankroll for as long as possible, by using proper money management. Do not blow your entire bankroll in just a few hands. This is a rookie mistake. Try to make small bets, and gradually increase your bets when things are going your way, and decrease your bets when you are on a losing streak. Also, the objective of blackjack is to have fun.
